Our Portfolio of Banks in Sri Lanka

We Remit monies to your recipients via the major banks in Sri Lanka. The money can be deposited in an account or drawn over the counter. If necessary, depending on the bank you use, we can even arrange for the money to be delivered to their home by courier for no extra charge in Australia.

We remit direct to the above seven banks, which means your money goes direct to your specified account. This reduces any local charges you have to pay.

If your beneficiary does not hold an account at any bank over the counter payments can be made at any branch of the Commercial Bank, People's Bank, Bank of Ceylon and Seylan Bank. The funds can be collected by your beneficiary on production of their National Identity Card.

If your beneficiary holds an account with either Commercial or Sampath Bank, your remittance is deposited into the account at close of business in Melbourne (Approx 2:00 pm SL time). If money is required earlier than 2:00 pm, a surcharge of $15 will be charged for this service.

Sampath bank accounts can be credited even on Sri Lanka public holidays (outside our working hours a surcharge of $15 is applicable.)
